So wish I were you. Wondering around in Barcelona! Architecturally speaking - how does the city function for visitors, Coherent? inviting?

When we got back from Florence Italy, I could only compare to Paris, but in Florence there were open public squares but no places to sit! anywhere! I wondered how the elderly could take it. So different from Paris which was so comfortable to walk in. but different history and people of course.

The architecture is amazing! Anywhere you look. There are streets call diagonals (I think) which run in several places along the city. These places are wider pedestrians to walk. There are benches there. I am learning better how to get around. The streets are set up quite logically. There is also in many areas a bike, bus, Taxilane. I will keep checking it out for you.
