Moving Away

Seems like the babies have moved farther away from the nest.   I did not hear their hungry screech when I walked the road the other night, or hear the parent's soft clucking sound as she roosted nearby.   It may be a good thing, since the hawks nest is becoming more active.  It is raining today, but I will search soon for their new hunting grounds.

I have always been a lover of nature and photography.  Several years ago a family of owls moved in to nest next door.  They return every year to nest and raise their young.  I have had the pleasure and honor of watching this over time and growing with them each year.  Hope you enjoy watching as well.
